Seatbelt recall – Chevrolet Impala October 15, 2010 General Motors will recall over 303,000 Chevrolet Impalas for a problem with the front seat belts. The seat belt webbing on certain 2009-2010 Impalas may not have been properly secured to the belt pretensioner anchor, which is located near the door. The seatbelt may not properly protect an occupant of the car involved in a crash;therefore, the occupants may suffer serious personal injury as a result of a car accident. Dealers will inspect both front seat belts and reinstall the anchors, if necessary. The recall will begin late October. For more information, contact Chevrolet at 800-630-2438. Please contact us if you think you were injured as a result of this problem or any other Jacksonville car accident.
