AMY CARRASQUILLO
Amy Carrasquillo is a personal injury attorney at Harrell & Harrell, P.A., where she is dedicated to representing individuals and families who have been injured through no fault of their own. She brings more than 15 years of experience to her practice, with a career that includes both plaintiff and defense work—giving her unique insight into how insurance companies approach personal injury cases.
A Jacksonville native, Amy earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University in 2000, followed by her Master of Business Administration in 2003. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2008, where she also spent two years clerking for Harrell & Harrell.
Amy began her legal career representing clients in workers’ compensation and social security matters. She then spent six years as in-house counsel for a large insurance company in Orlando and Jacksonville, handling workers’ compensation claims, personal injury protection (PIP) disputes, fraud investigations, and complex personal injury cases. As the designated special investigations unit attorney for northern Florida, she developed extensive experience defending against fraudulent claims—knowledge she now leverages on behalf of her injured clients.
Since returning to Harrell & Harrell in 2017, Amy has focused her practice on helping accident victims navigate the challenges of recovery and securing the compensation they deserve. She is known for her compassionate approach and her ability to combine business-minded strategy with strong legal advocacy.
Outside of her practice, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors watching her two children play soccer and traveling with her family and their beloved pug. Whether with family or clients, she is committed to helping those around her feel supported and cared for.
