DAVID BLACK

David Black is a personal injury attorney at Harrell & Harrell, P.A., where he has spent over 20 years representing clients in cases involving automobile accidents and premises liability. He is known for taking on challenging cases—whether involving pre-existing conditions, contested liability, or minimal property damage—and working tirelessly to achieve positive outcomes for his clients.

David has called Jacksonville home for more than 30 years, growing up in Fruit Cove and graduating from Allen D. Nease High School. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Communications from Florida State University before obtaining his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law.

David is a member of the Florida Bar, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Florida Justice Association. He was recently accepted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and extends his commitment to service beyond the courtroom by providing pro bono legal assistance and contributing to initiatives that have strengthened local infrastructure.

Outside of work, David is passionate about the outdoors. He enjoys fishing, hiking, scuba diving, and staying active. He is a devoted husband and father, happily married to his wife, Mindy, for over 20 years, and the proud father of two sons, Parker and J.D. Whether he’s coaching his children’s sports teams, cooking, traveling the world, or cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars, David values every opportunity to spend time with his family.
