It’s been our great privilege to collect and deliver toys to Wolfson Children’s Hospital since 2012, and this year’s toy drive was the most successful yet with more than 800 toys donated. Our special teams of Santa’s elves visited children in more than 60 rooms on December 14, delivering holiday cheer with wagons and carts filled with gifts.
The children were so excited to see us, and one of our teams even let a group of children select their own toys in a play room. The parents and families were very appreciative and happy to see the smiles on their little ones’ faces — and we were just as grateful to have the opportunity to bring a bit of Christmas into the lives of children who can’t be home for the holidays. On December 15, our elves will also bring the cheer to the children’s unit at UF Health with gifts of toys for them.
Thank you to everyone who made the toy drive such a great success by donating toys, helping us organize the drive, and spreading the word about this great annual tradition.
