‘Tis the season to be jolly, caring, and give back to others. Each year, Harrell & Harrell hosts, along with radio partners WEJZ 96.1 and WGNE 99.9 Gator Country, a toy drive that helps bring joy to children that will be spending the holidays in the hospital. Through our community’s generosity, our annual toy drive has grown large enough that we’ve been able to expand our distribution of toys, allowing us to reach even more children and families. Last year, we collected 4,313 toys for the Children’s Miracle Network, our biggest collection year to date.
This year’s donations will not only spread some holiday cheer, but will also be used year round by pediatric patients at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, UF Health Jacksonville, as well as various outpatient locations.
During times like these, contributing to a good cause means effectively putting safety first. As a result, we’ll be accepting new and unwrapped donated toys. Taking these safety measures helps keep our the patients and families in the hospital happy and healthy during the holidays.
