Renee Daigle Harrell, president of Harrell & Harrell, P.A., was honored last week by the Jacksonville Business Journal as one of the First Coast’s Ultimate Attorneys. The 2017 award recipients were selected for having elevated the legal profession and helped shape Jacksonville’s business community. Nominees for the awards were chosen from a group of attorneys suggested by their peers.
In her role as president of the firm, Renee oversees many aspects of the firm’s operation from a managerial standpoint. Asked what she enjoys most, Renee says, “I enjoy being the manager or being in a leadership role. It allows me to oversee a lot of things and use my multitasking abilities. We obviously have a booming business, but also kind of a small firm mentality.”
In addition to her leadership position at Harrell & Harrell, Renee also dedicates her time to volunteer community activities. She is a strong advocate of Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, which specializes in providing civil legal assistance to low-income persons. She also served on the steering committee for the Northeast Florida Medical Legal Partnership, a collaboration between physicians and attorneys that focuses on improving the health of the community’s vulnerable, low-income population.
